These cute and colorful earrings are super easy and inexpensive to make. I spent less than two dollars to make each pair.

All you need is some cord in your choice of colors, a pair of hoop earrings, scissors, and white glue.

The first step is to cut a length of cord. For every inch of diameter of the hoops, cut a foot. This pair is about an inch across, so I cut a foot. If you use one color only, double the length. Then tie the cord around the hoop, just behind the closure.

Wrap the cord around the entire hoop. Tie the end. Glue both knots. After the glue dries, cut off the extra cord.
